Scott Quigg won the WBA International Super Bantamweight title by stopping Argentinian Santiago Allione, at the Castle Leisure Centre, Bury Quigg’s home town.
.
Big things are destined for the Manchester boxer and people in the trade are really taking note and saying good things about this special talent.
.
Quigg (20-0 14KO) looked sharp in his first title fight, controlling the first two rounds of the fight with a good jab and quick combinations and counter punching to the liking of the loud home town support.
.
The finish came when In the third round, when a couple of glancing right hooks, from Quigg seem to just half catch the Argentinian, but Allione went down and didn’t make it back up before the referee reached the count of ten.

.

Quigg will now be looking for domestic titles has he continues his march into title class and continues to steadily fulfill the prospect tag bestowed upon him.
