Akaash Hussain hopes to learn from stoppage

Newcastle’s young light-heavyweight hope Akaash “Ca$h” Hussain has been immediately pencilled in to fight on the undercard of Amir Khan’s WBA light-welterweight title defence against Paul McCloskey on April 16th after a shock defeat in only his second pro contest.
The 19 year-old Geordie opened his pro career in January with an impressive shutout four-round win, but couldn’t follow it up last Friday as he was stopped in four rounds by Andrejs Tolstihs, who put him on the canvas, before referee Michael Alexander stopped the bout with just seven seconds remaining.
The youngster will now have to pick himself up from his first professional disappointment at the MEN Arena next month and under he guidance of former cruiserweight world champion Glenn McCrory, he has the right man behind him to help him get re-focused.
