How did you get into boxing?
My older brother started boxing and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I started at aged 8
Who/what inspired you in the beginning?
Once I got in the gym watching the older boys train and sparring inspired me.
Best advice you were ever given?
Always train hard

I train at St Josephs in Newport
Who is your coach?
Tony Borg
What was your amateur back ground and record?
I had about 100 fights, only losing a handful. I boxed internationally for wales and won the welsh national title ever year until I turned pro
Who was your first coach?
Peter Anthony
Do you have a day job?
No just boxing
Other than boxing what are your hobbies and pastimes?
My hobbies include falconry, hunting, shooting and reading.

A Rapper

I am inspired everyday because one day I want to be world champion

Best and worse thing about the boxing game?
For me the best thing about boxing is winning and the worst part of boxing is the inactivity.
How do you deal with your pre-fight nerves?
I get nervous but I’m fully focused on the fight.

My younger brother Andrew Selby
What rule would you introduce/change in Boxing if you could?
I wouldn’t change anything about boxing.
