Unbeaten Former World bantamweight champion Paul Butler (pic) had been mandated by the BBBofC to defend his British super-flyweight title against Jamie Conlan. But he has now vacated the belt. Butler fights next on the Echo Arena bill in Liverpool on October 25th for the world title down at super-flyweight, but no opponent has been confirmed yet and Conlan takes on Filipino Daryl Basadre at the Titanic Quarter on September 6. Conlan will bid to add the WBO inter-continental super-flyweight title. It is uncertain if Conlan will contest the vacant belt.
