Manchester featherweight Ryan Doyle takes on Ian Bailey in a rematch for the English featherweight title on July 16th, at the Victoria Warehouse in Old Trafford. – Doyle spoke to British Boxers about the rematch with Bailey and says he is ready for revenge and to lift the English strap.

Doyle, 24, suffered a stoppage defeat against Bailey in September 2014, when he was halted in the 10th round of a bruising fight for the Central area title. – Doyle says the best man won on the night and admits he took him lightly last time and learnt a valuable lesson that night.

Doyle (12-1-1, 8KOs) believes he needs to take on Bailey again and beat him, before he can move on with his career. The only loss on his record has played heavy on his mind and he wants redemption, and plans to reverse the result this time around.

Since the defeat to Bailey, Doyle has had 4 fights, 3 wins and a very respectable draw with fellow prospect Isaac Lowe and the Mancunian pressure fighter says in the interview, he is a much more improved boxer than the one who fell to Bailey last time and he will prove his pedigree this time.
