John Murray (33-3, 20KO) is the sentimental favourite to so many UK fight fans. In particular John is held in extremely high regard in his home town of Manchester where he now works as a trainer at the “Murray Machines Gym” in Reddish.

Inside the ring John was the definition of the word warrior, a former English, British and European champion, many regard his as one of the great fighters to not win a world title. His never say die attitude, toughness and heart made him fan friendly to say the least.

In this Exclusive British Boxers interview we look back over a successful career and contemplate Johns views on retirement and the fight game.
