BBTV Down at the park with the unbeaten No1 WBO world super-lightweight challenger.
Unbeaten former British and WBO international title holder Jack Catterall (23-0, 12KOs) met with BBTV today at Astley Park in his home town of Chorley, where we discussed his next fight in London on April 27th as he awaits news of a world title fight against WBO world super lightweight champion Maurice Hooker.
Catterall, 25, is the No1 ranked challenger for Hookers belt, the one that he won in Manchester by outpointing Terry Flanagan last year. The Chorley man is in pole position to take his shot but must wait. So in the meantime he has decided to take a fight to keep active while he hears further news. He updates us on all this and more, including his trip to New York to watch Hooker in action recently. Interview by Chris Maylett.
