Sky Sports announced during the Richard Riakporhe vs Fabio Turchi broadcast that they will show the exhibition bout between Ricky Hatton and Marco Antonio Barrera on July 2nd.
The six-round bout will follow on from Hughie Fury‘s title eliminator clash with American Michael Hunter at the Manchester Arena, a venue Hatton is all so familiar with after enjoying several enthralling nights there, including his monumental 2005 triumph over then pound-for-pound star Kostya Tzsyu.
Hatton has documented his physical overhaul on social media, with his latest post revealing a spar with his son Campbell, who himself turned professional in 2020 and has seven fights to his name with a 100% winning record.
