According to Gareth A. Davies of the Telegraph, the upcoming heavyweight rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua is set to take place on Sky Sports Box Office after all, despite the latter having signed an exclusive long-term deal with streaming platform DAZN in recent weeks.

The news comes in an article published on Thursday evening after the broadcasting rights for the highly anticipated rematch were sold outright to Saudi Arabia during the negotiations for the clash, and it appears that it is Joshua’s former UK broadcasting partner who has come out on top.

If true, the defeat will be a big loss for DAZN following their recent acquisition of Joshua on a long-term deal given the inevitable plummet in his marketability if the result is to be the same second time around as it was in September of last year, where ‘AJ’ was comprehensively outboxed by the Ukrainian and looked to be moments away from being stopped in the final stages.
