Pound-for-pound star Amanda Serrano will clash with Denmark’s Sarah Mahfoud in Manchester on September 24th for the unified featherweight championship of the world, live on BT Sport Box Office.
Serrano was edged out by Katie Taylor in the standout fight of 2022 so far at the end of April and will look to unify against IBF holder Mahfoud this Autumn as she continues to cement her legacy as one of the greatest female fighters the sport of boxing has seen. Mahfoud meanwhile will not only view the fight as an opportunity to gather up multiple straps at 126-pounds, but also a chance to pickup the scalp of one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters since the turn of the century.
Heavyweights Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker will headline the card at Manchester’s AO Arena, with more undercard bouts set to be announced in the coming days.
