BOXXER and Wasserman Boxing have officially announced that Chris Eubank Jnr and Liam Smith will face-off in a huge middleweight showdown on January 21st.
Manchester’s AO Arena will host as Liverpool’s Smith moves up to the middleweight limit to take on former British champion Eubank Jnr.
The bout will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office for a price yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.
Eubank Jnr hasn’t fought since his dominant twelve-round victory over Liam Williams in February.
The 33-year-old was set to clash with Conor Benn on October 8th before the latter failed a VADA drugs test which scuppered the fight at the eleventh hour.
Smith meanwhile halted Hassan Mwakinyo inside four rounds in September at super-welterweight.
