BOXXER have confirmed Adam Azim will face Ukraine’s Aram Fanyan at York Hall on June 10th.
The 20-year-old Azim (8-0), is touted as one of the brightest developing talents in the sport having won six of his eight contests inside the distance so far.
Azim endured the ten-round distance for the first time in his career in February against Nicaragua’s durable Santos Reyes.
The latter was floored by a well-timed right hand in the second before seeing out the remaining eight rounds in a valuable learning fight for Slough’s Azim.
Faryan meanwhile (22-1), has fought all but one of his 23 outings from his native Ukraine and hasn’t tasted defeat since a close-fought ten-round decision loss in 2018.
Elsewhere on the card, cruiserweight Viddal Riley rematches Anees Taj following their initial encounter two months ago.
Riley won via TKO in the fourth-round after a nasty cut opened above Taj’s left eye before referee Bob Williams halted the contest on the advice of the ringside doctor.
Unbeaten middleweight Aaron McKenna and Shakiel Thompson also meet at middleweight, while Frazer Clarke appears before facing British heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley later in the year.
