The David Haye and Wladimir Klitscho heavyweight unification fight is well under way and gathering momentum, as the July 2 date in Germany approaches for one of the most eagerly awaited bouts for many a year.

In an interesting interview with SkySports Craig Slater, Carl Froch, Britain’s WBC super middleweight champion gives his verdict and analysis on the tactical battle that awaits both men as they look to gain supremacy in the heavyweight division.
Wladimir Klitschko is a tall gentleman and he has the height and reach advantage on David Haye, so it would be stupid of him to not try and take that advantage from round one and use the ring.

If Haye finds the way to come forward and get inside and penetrate the guard, any boxer in the world, like Valuev he got to him in the end. Davids got to push in and get to him and hit him early and I think he will do. If David catches him early it will be a shut-out, its gonna be David Haye winning early. He’ll flatten Klitschko like he has been flattened before.”
