World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and unbeaten British challenger Tyson Fury weighed in today ahead Saturdays showdown in Dusseldorf Germany, with Fury coming in just one pound heavier than Klitschko ahead of Saturday’s showdown in
Fury, 27, weighed in at at 112kg (17st 8lbs) lower than expcted and only the second time in his 24-0, KO18 career as a professional. Long reigning belt holder Klitschko, 39, who holds WBA Super, WBO and IBF straps, came in at 111.5kg (17st 7lbs) that is more than 4lbs heavier than he was for his last fight, a points win against Bryant Jennings in April.

After the weigh in the pair face off in the final head to head before they meet in centre ring this weekend in one of the most highly anticipated heavyweight match-ups in recent years.
Both stared at each other intently, with neither breaking the stare down. Then as someone came in between to end the stand off, Klitschko offered his hand to Fury, who shook it, even though he had refused to when the champion attempted to shake it when he entered the podium minutes earlier.
But Fury had some final words for Klitschko as they parted, “Let the games begin.” he said.
