Barrow-in-Furness fighter Ross ‘The Boss’ Cooksey will make his professional debut on Friday March 24th at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester on a Black Flash Promotion show.
With a good amateur career behind him, Ross explains why now is the right time to turn over and seek his dream of becoming a champion.
We also speak to his new coach Steve Egan who runs the Jimmy Egan Boxing Club. Despite the club producing boxers such as Tyson Fury, Hosea Burton, Jimmy Kelly, Kofi Yates and Macaulay McGowan over the years, they have never coached into the pros and Ross will be their first.
Tickets for the 24th March show can be purchased from Ross: Contact him on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/ross.cooksey.3?hc_ref=SEARCH
Or call: 07881 305 058 – Tickets £40 – Coach travel from Barrow available.
Topping the bill at Bowlers will be the English super-welterweight title fight between Matthew Ryan Vs Sonny Upton. Also on the bill will be Lyndon Arthur, Chris Monaghan, Marcel Braithwaite, and many more fights lined up. More info on the bill to follow on this site…
