Macaulay McGowan (10-0-1, 1KO) is one of boxing’s real characters out of the ring, inside it he is as serious as they come, he can fight!

Macaulay has been campaigning at light-middleweight and was set to face Matthew Ryan recently for the English title, but had to pull out through injury. He explains about the withdrawal and tells us he will now be campaigning at welterweight from here on in and is ready to take the division by storm, promising he will fight anybody.
Macaulay also touches on the sad news that his friend Kofi Yates, who he started boxing with as a young amateur at Jimmy Egans Boxing Club, before both moving over to Arnie Farnell’s as pros, recently had to call time on his fight career on medical grounds.
