Errol Johnson’s BCB Promotions presented a night of professional boxing in Edgbaston, Birmingham on Friday evening as Kings Norton welterweight Connor Goodchild secured his third professional victory in as many fights after a four-round whitewash of MJ Hall. Goodchild won every round on the night and was revealed as a 40-36 winner on referee Chris Dean’s scorecard in Edgbaston. The twenty-four-year-old spent time in Mexico during his preparation for the fight as he looks to continue his development in the professional ranks after three bouts in four months, and will surely look to keep active over the coming months.

Also on the card, super-welterweight Sam Daly made his pro debut with a four-round points victory over George Rogers. Daly enjoyed a successful amateur career whereby he secured thirty-six victories in forty-seven outings, and will be glad to have finally laced professional gloves after being made to wait due to delays caused by the pandemic. Heavyweight Rob Fletcher maintained his 100% winning record with a fourth victory in as many contests as he too won on the cards after four rounds against Christian Donfack Adjoufack respectively. 168-pounder Jarrett Doherty also earned his second pro win with a four-round decision over Josh Cook.
