Matchroom Boxing have announced that Dillian Whyte will take on American Jermaine Franklin on November 26th at Wembley Arena.

Whyte succumbed to a sixth-round stoppage defeat to Tyson Fury in April. The undefeated Franklin boasts fourteen wins inside the distance so far although is yet to fight at the level of ‘The Body Snatcher’.

Fabio Wardley and Nathan Gorman will also collide for the vacant British heavyweight title. Wardley, who previous held the English strap, halted Chris Healey in the first-round last time out.

Gorman previously contested for the British in 2019 when he was stopped by Daniel Dubois inside five rounds. The twenty-six-year-old has since put three consecutive victories together since, including a first-round victory over Tomas Salek four months ago.

Light-heavyweight Craig Richards is also set to return against Ricards Bolotniks in his first fight back since defeat to Joshua Buatsi in May. Bolotniks previously won the MTK Golden Contract tournament in 2020.

Derby super-lightweight Sandy Ryan is also set to take on Mexico’s Magali Rodriguez.

Ryan avenged her sole professional defeat last time out with a unanimous decision over Erica Farias. Rodriguez meanwhile has previously challenged for a world title, albeit down at bantamweight.

DAZN will broadcast the card on November 26th. On the same night, super-middleweights Zach Parker and John Ryder are set to clash on a Frank Warren show at the O2 Arena.
