Central Area super-featherweight champion Michael Gomez Jnr (17-1-0, 5KOs) and Brian Phillips (12-2-0, 3KOs) go head-to-head on Saturday at the Oldham Leisure Centre.
The pair were initially set to face-off in July before the champion Gomez Jnr was forced to pull out during fight week because of a hand injury.
Fast-forward three months and the pair are set to collide once again in an intense Manchester versus Liverpool derby in Oldham.
Gomez Jnr secured the title with a fourth-round stoppage of Sufyaan Ahmed in November last year and looks to make his first defence this weekend.
Phillips meanwhile is yet to secure a major title so far as a professional and hopes to be successful in his first shot this Saturday.
The undercard in Oldham was set to feature a vacant Central Area title fight down at super-bantamweight before Michael Ramabeletsa pulled out days before because of injury.
Opponent Zak Miller (9-0-0, 2KOs) will still appear on the card in a non-title fight.
Super-featherweight prospect Josh Holmes (9-0-0, 2KOs) appears over six rounds against Christian Flores (14-20-2, 12KOs).
Liam Jones (3-0-0, 1KO) makes his fourth appearance as a pro in a six-round lightweight contest versus journeyman Jamie Quinn (10-138-2).
Linzi Buczynskyj (3-1-0) also appears over six versus Riya Rani (2-0-0) at super-featherweight.
