Chantelle Cameron will rematch Katie Taylor in defence of her undisputed super-lightweight titles in Dublin’s 3Arena on November 25th.

Cameron handed Taylor the first defeat of her pro career at the same venue with a majority-decision victory after ten rounds in May.

“I pulled off one of the best away wins against the best female fighter on the planet”, said Cameron ahead of the rematch.

“I’m going to go in there with more aggression and energy and I’m confident of getting the job done in better fashion.”

Taylor activated a rematch clause in June to enforce a second fight with Cameron and is eager to return to her home country two months on from their initial encounter.

“I’m delighted the rematch has been made and really can’t wait for another huge night in November”, said the 37 year old.

“I relish challenges like this and these are the occasions I live for.”

The card is the latest to be announced as part of Matchroom’s schedule for the second half of 2023.

Anthony Joshua will rematch Dillian Whyte at the O2 Arena next week, while Tokyo 2020 gold medalist Galal Yafai headlines a NXTGEN card in his home city of Birmingham the following week.

Matchroom also confirmed earlier this week that Leigh Wood will defend his WBA featherweight title against Josh Warrington in Sheffield on October 7th.

Undercard announcements for Taylor-Cameron are set to follow in due course.
