Michael Gomez Jr (7-0, 2KO) is currently engaged in a war of words with former gym mate Artif “The Sniper” Ali (11-1) ahead of a proposed June clash for the Central Area title.
Gomez Jr, 22, recently left Sean Krool’s Fight Factory Gym to team up with Arnie Farnell up the road in Manchester and since then the relationship has soured.

Ali, 29, uncharacteristically called out his former training partner at a press conference for a recent PBE show at the Bowlers. This was met by a frosty response by Gomez Jr, playing down the fight and mocking Ali, stating that he would need sparring partners such as “Mo Farah” and “Forrest Gump” in order to prepare for Ali’s hit and move style of boxing.
Ali responded to that by calling Gomez a ‘Cry Baby’ WATCH VIDEO HERE.
